Crossfit is about fitness and it’s about community.   Our classes are small group sessions and the culture of the members is what makes Crossfit Detonate of Houston different.  Sure every Crossfit Gym will get you in shape but the company you keep and the people you surround yourself with make you stay and strive to be your very best.  At Crossift Detonate we have a unique personality.  Our classes aren’t crazy and extreme but rather scaled to our ideal client.  Our members are male professionals and  females dedicated to being their best physically and professionally.   They are teachers, nurses, law enforcement, military, self employed,  paralegals and other professionals.  We all want the same thing; a great workout that makes us feel young and strong but we also want to make sure it’s safe, educational and fun!  If this sounds like you, come in and check it out.  I think you will feel right at home.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

CrossFit HoustonThe CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

Thousands of athletes worldwide have followed our workouts posted daily on this site and distinguished themselves in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms and homes. Education is a big part of CrossFit. When you start, you are not expected to have the knowledge you need.

CrossFit is an education about movement, fitness, nutrition and community. All of these things require responsibility, common sense, and work to educate oneself using all the tools available in the community.
